The Whitespire birch is an exotic white-barked birch tree that has been more resistant to bronze birch borer than the other exotic birch trees. It has a white, non-peeling bark. It is more heat-tolerant and disease-resistant than other white-barked trees of this genus, and thus well-adapted for various planting environments.
